How much does it cost to attend Conference 2024?
Fees are $200 per person (invitees - Publishers, Editors, and Publisher Directors)

The room rate for extra nights is $250/night/room

Who will book my hotel reservation?
CL will take care of all hotel reservations!

When do I need to arrive for Conference 2024?
If you are NOT a speaker, your flight should arrive no later than 2pm CST on Sunday, September 15th. Speakers should arrive no later than 12pm (noon) CST.

When do I need to depart?
Flights should be booked no earlier than 4pm CST on Tuesday, September 17th.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
CL will provide bus transportation based on arrival and departure times. Closer to the event date, we will send you your scheduled pick up time. If you arrive / depart outside of the group times, you will be responsible for your own transportation.

What if I miss the bus or don’t want to wait for the bus?
You are welcome to take an Uber to the hotel if you’d prefer! Follow the ride share signs at the KC Airport.

Who can attend?
All Publishers, Editors, and Publication Directors are invited to attend! Please note that all attendees must be listed in ARC. If your Editor or Publication Director is not in ARC, please reach out to National Support to begin the process.

How will I pay the Conference Fee?
Conference fees for all attendees will be taken out of the Publisher's August commissions.

How will I pay to have my own room?
If you opt to have your own room, these fees will also be taken out of the Publisher's August commissions (along with your Conference fees).

What if I need to make changes to my reservation?
Please submit a ticket to National Support with any revisions as soon as possible.

I'm driving to Conference 2024 - where do I park?
The hotel has an easy parking garage right at the entrance.

When can I check in to my room? When do I check out?
Hotel check-in is 4 PM CST. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time. Hotel check-out is before 11 AM CST.

Am I required to attend? What if I have a scheduling conflict?
It is mandatory for Publishers to attend National Conference. We strongly encourage Editors and Publication Directors to attend as well!

Can a member of my staff attend Conference in my place?
It is mandatory that Publishers attend the National Conference.
